Ryan was coughing badly and keep waking up..realized I was feeling crampy and went back to sleep
Woke up for work and still feeling crampy..downloaded the contraction app and started timing the crampy feeling...it was rather regular but still had to go office as temp staff is coming today
Felt fine when I reached office and finishe my stuff n had lunch
Ard 2plus the crampy feeling came again...called hb to fetch me from office
Wanted to go home n bathe and go hospital for a check up
On the way back, decided to grab a bite in case if it's the real thing!
Luckily managed to grab the last 3 pieces of my fav custard puff from Love Confectionary. Hb ate claypot laksa and I sneak a mouth! Had bubble tea that was tasteless! Better than nothing coz this was the last meal before I popped!
Checked in tmc at 4plus at birth room 7...I was already 4cm dilated! And I only felt cramps..nurse asked I want epi? I said no..while hb went to do registration, took quite awhile! Dr Wong came by ard 5+ to check, 5cm already and asked if I need epi? Left 1hr to decide and no epi after 6cm...she said I was still smiling at 5cm, good chance I can do without epi
Hb came back from registration and bought chicken essence but nurse say can't drink as it will bring up the BP
I still drank a small bottle!
By ard 6pm we still deciding to go for epi anot..it's my greatest wish to do it without epi!
Deep down I was worried if I didn't take, it will be a long labour again..how is Kai going to take it if he don't see both of us tonite if labour drags?
So left it to fate and asked the nurse to give me epi if anthestist could do it immediately...then he walked it! Fated
Took awhile to prepare and I was given laughing gas! Then I realized that I didn't ask for laughing gas before that?!?!! Anyway epi would take 20-30mins to take effect
Soon I felt the urge to poo...nurse never say anything and ask me to hold
Gynea came soon after cos I was actually trying to push...the want to poo feeling is actually baby's head descending
After 3 pushes, Reagan was delivered at 7.09pm at 3.09kg! :))
