Finally Ryan got his MMR jab done at 19mths!
Initial delay was due to the worry about autism (although there is no proof but so many reports, just to be safe)
Then came the Xmas holidays, PD was closed then followed by CNY holidays and episodes n episodes of fever n cough n flu *heartache*
at 19mths, weighing only 10.8kg, 81cm
50th percentile....wonder when my boy grow bigger?
PD also did an assessment for him
he made ryan stack blocks? ask him pass me a paper clip? asked if he sleep and eat well?
ask if he climb stairs without our assistance?
funny part came when he asked if he can call "mama" ,"papa"?
i said yes...then he asked if he can string 2 words together?
ryan went "爸爸做工"
PD went "wow, very clever" and Ryan gave the smug look
*cheeky little boy*
End up at 19mths...jab done
my darling was such a brave boy...no crying! just a scream when the needle went through
i choose to do the MMR and not MMRV....fear of fever again *shudders*
to be on the safe side.....we be back for the chicken pox jab next mth
