Today I slept in today, cos I was feeling so tired due to coughing the whole nite!
Papa took over the job of making milk for Ryan in the morning.
Suprisingly Ryan was able to relate what happened yesterday!
After I woke up, Papa made him repeat it to me
Papa: 你昨天跟谁出去？
Ryan: 姨姨 (En jie's mummy)
Papa: 还有谁?
Ryan: En Jie
*clap clap*
amazed by little boy! guess he was really happy yesterday!
one thing we notice, he tends to call young pretty girls 姨姨
Yesterday we for dinner at mushroom pot using the bigdeal.sg promo
Ryan was totally uncooperative! probably he had too much fun at Fidgets?
It was one of those days that I wish we never brought him out
So this morning I remembered that I had to fed him cod liver oil for the past 1 week and gave him double dosage!
On the way to class, he sat on my lap quietly throughout the car ride! normally he would be struggling, standing, trying to sit with daddy, want nan nan (to breastfeed), in short its always a terrible experience with him at the backseat cos he cant sit still!
As I was sick so cant bring him into class.
Papa's feedback is that he was quite attentive in class today
Hmmm...we start to see the effect of cod liver oil
Does it really have such a huge impact??? His behaviour yesterday and today...huge difference!
I read about fish oil being good for hyperactive kids, an aug mummy also said it was effective for her hyperactive girl
*note to self: read up and research about this*
Confirmed that Ryan can do matching of the alphabets in GUG class.
Papa says he could do it correctly today again so its not coincidental
As usual before he sleeps...we normally talk to him and teach him new words
We realise this is the time when he is most responsive.
I showed him the pictures taken at Fidgets yesterday. Suprisingly again, he said "En jie" when he saws Enjie's photo! He has found himself a bbf at such a young age..hehee
After latching him, he was 70% asleep
Suddenly he sat up and went " grew and grew and grew" with actions (hands opening bigger and bigger) and "pop". So he does learn! He remembers the Rhyme of the month.
This little boy has been suprising us for the last one week. Is it because I am spending more time with him?
I rem when i took a 3 weeks break in dec 2010. He started talking much more too
All these just gives me an affirmation. The decision to give up my banking career is right!
Nothing beats all these precious moments with my little boy
Hope I really get the work life balance that I am looking for when I start my new job.
