oh my god...mummy has been so busy at work dat i haven been blogging!
my lil one has been growing up so fast! keeping all of us busy but happy!
today i finally saw him stand up!!
cool...at 8 mths 1 week old :)
he can also say "mum mum" "ma ma" "ba ba" but not at the right timing...hahaa...he juz says it when he likes it
making alot of other noises as well....sometimes he "sings" as well!
recently he likes this "nobody" song alot too....he laughs when yiyi dances this song for him!!
let mummy try to recall his milestones...though mummy quite baby-brained now...hahhaaa
we started feeding him cereal n porridge at 6mths...so far he is taking solids well...but his milk intake has dropped quite alot!
although i only pump once in the morn n once in office...sometimes i even haf excess to freeze!
ryan has tried carrot, potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, butternut squash, spinach (chinese one), peas for veg
for fruits, he has tried apple, pear, watermelon, banana, kiwi, papaya...n he really loves watermelons!
we also put pork n chicken into his porridge for the taste but he hasnt got the chance to eat them yet
*now then i know there are so many types of spinach! the chinese ones, the angmoh ones, the round-leaf ones, the pointed leaves ones! suddenly mummy has this new interest of going to the market!!
since starting solids, we have been trying ways to get him to drink water
he hates the milk bottle...we try all ways
milk bottle, spoon feed (he drinks but too time consuming), mag mag with spout
so one day my mum tried using the bowl!
suprisingly he drank quite alot of water
so i decided to get a cup for him
but this weird baby dun like to drink with the cup! only with the pigeon bowl
machiam those chinese in those olden days...drinking with a bowl
then mummy decide to buy the mag mag straw for him to try
suprise suprise suprise...he could suck without us teaching him!
at 7mths! :)
that ends the problem with water drinking
now he loves water! drinks non stop whenever he sees his mag mag straw cup
he has also started to sit n crawl...but he cant crawl on fours...he prefers to do the leopard crawl...but he looks so funny when he crawls...he looks like he is swimming!
now he has 2 bottom teeth now
mummy is trying to stop breastfeeding cos naughty kaikai bites!
ouch ouch ouch!
at 8mths...we tried introducing FM again
mummy is really tired n too busy to pump at work too
we tried introducing nan ha 1 at 6mths...he juz refused to drink n just cry n cry
so we gave up...one big tin of nan ha 1 costs us $40!! luckily lil rachel drinks nan ha 1 as well...didnt go to waste
this time we tried similac (supposed to taste good!) but this stubborn lil boy refuses to drink as well!
the first time we fed him, juz one mouth n he started pushing the bottle away! after many tries, granny gave in and went to make ebm for the naughty boy...the moment he saw the bottle, he started crying again!! keeping pushing it away
FM really so horrible?!!?

at 8mths 1week old...kaikai is still not sleeping through the nite
mummy has sort of get used to this routine of waking up twice a nite...
wondering when will he ever sleep through???
