24th aug 10am - its EDD but ryan still doesnt want to come out, so i haf to induce today...went gynae clinic to insert pill to induce at 10am...will haf to go back at 5pm to check for dilation
5pm - went back at 5pm, zero dilation! oh no...inserted 2nd pill n asked to go home to get ready n admit at 11pm
1130pm - admission took quite long cos there were quite alot of ppl....i was sent to labour ward while weili went to settle admission...i was asked to changed, shaved n given some liquid to poo poo..strapped on CTG machine to monitor contractions n baby's heartbeat
25th aug 115am - gynae came only 2cm dilated so she broke my water bag to speed up the dilation...was told to be given the drip to speed up the process...gynae say its bout 1cm per hr...some will come back at 7am to check, shld be able to deliver then
230am - transferred to delivery suite n put on drip, told to get some sleep...drifted in n out cos it was painful
7+am - pain was unbearable...nurse checked only 3cm dilated! oh my god....i wanted natural without epi but at tis point i gave up...screamed for epi! anthestist took v long to come...the waiting process was horrible...
8+am - epidural was injected...no wonder ppl call it hapi-dural....they wanted me read the indemnity when i couldnt even sign properly! tink ard 9 gynae came n say ard 12pm can deliver
10+am - nurse says im 7cm dilated....i shld haf taken epidural earlier!
12+pm - nurse says 10cm dilated...called gynae...gynae came n say head still high...need to wait she will be back
2+pm - we started pushing on our own...cos delivery full house...all nurses so busy
4pm - totally exhausted and in pain...crying badly...nurse called for gynae
gynae came n ask if i need help...i say yes! meaning using forceps....i gave in cos i really got no more strength
4.27pm - birth of ryan lee! finally i smiled.... :)
seeing him...all the pain has been worth it!
fr inducing to seeing him...30+hrs....oh my god
i neva expected delivery to b so long!
but im so heart pain to see marks on his face...cos due to forceps...he got a weird head shape...harry potter mark on his eye...blue black on his face...wound on his head!
useless mummy...no strength push so cause him so much trauma....doc say all these will go away soon n i really hope so!
ryan is really our pride n joy!! ryan lee is born on 25th aug 2009 at 1627 at TMC...weighing in at a hefty 3525g...head circumference of 33cm and height of 50cm....he is really our BIG bundle of joy! :)
the moment i carried him in my arms....its so amazing! its like miracle...no words can describe the feeling...im really thankful for dear dear's support thru-out the whole process! muacks muacks
